My Opinion About TorbeCouples:
There are large communities of sites where users post their own home videos, but often the content on such sites is really poor. Amateur enthusiasts that still want to experience real couples, but in better quality content than a user site may enjoy Torbe Couples.
Torbe is a network out of Europe, as far as I recall, and TorbeCouples isn't the only quality site you receive with your membership. While many of the additional sites are reality or story-based productions, you may also enjoy sites like TorbeHomemade, SilviaNextDoor and SpyTorbe, which are included in the membership. Also, loyal members can request passes to a number of sites in the ATX Network and there are DVD downloads and numerous bonus movies also available. You certainly get your money's worth, but let's get back to the couples.
Once you located the preview image to TorbeCouples on the network page, you need only click it to be transported into the members' area. The network page is a bit untidy, but the couples page is a bit cleaner and certainly easy enough to browse. All the episodes are currently listed with thumbnail photos on the members' page. There aren't any really great search features, but the whole set-up is basic and easy. There are 26 episodes right now, which isn't a whole lot. However, it looks like this site was only launched in October 2008. It looks like content is being added three times a month, which is a little slower than the majority of sites. However, Torbe Couples also delivers more content options than many sites.
First, you get a choice between screencap and digital photos. You can view the 600x400 images online or download the entire set in a Zip file. Pictures are clear, even if they aren't that large. The images in the captures and stills sets are a bit similar, but slightly varied when it comes to angles caught on film. I liked the options a lot, even if the photos aren't much to write home about.
Low quality WMV parts are provided. However, you can download full-length WMV (2800kbps,1280x720), MPEG, QuickTime (1300kbps, 640x48) and iPod (320x240) formats. The quality is quite good, but the larger the files, the slower the downloads. The scenes are a bit more professional than perhaps any homemade sex video, but you still get a sense that the couples are amateurs. Some seem a bit nervous in front of the camera and others seem as if the were born for porn. The camerawork is very good and while there are only couples here, I felt the variety was pretty good. I mean, being amateurs, I don't expect the couples to have the most acrobatic moves in the world, but they do a hot enough job that the films are a turn on.
Final Verdict:
The video quality on Torbe Couples is excellent and the action seems natural enough that I bought into the whole real couples concept of the site. However, the site does need more couples content. However, with all the other bonus sites, movies and DVDs offered to members, the admission fee is absolutely reasonable. The films tend to be shot with a more professional eye than most amateur couples sites, but this doesn't take away from the turn-on factor.
